Down the Rabbit Hole | Bōsōzoku!AU

It was one of those nights where she was bored out of her wits; sitting in a miffy, run-down bar her small hand holding the handle of the half-empty beer jug in front of her, she was situated at the counter by the waiter, lined up with guys dressed in leather jackets who looked at her funny. It didn’t bother her too much -- it was the regular drill for men to be repulsed by her tomboy-ish attitude and the fact that she more so enjoyed the rough actions that were more so associated with the so-called stronger sex, though she would be one to argue with that. From time to time, she thought to herself: “Being a guy would be really cool!”, but in the end she really wouldn’t do much about it except dressing up in a way to give the androgynous vibe more so than anything ---- she was not a curvy girl to begin with, unlike her older sister, it came in handy when she wanted to confuse people would her gender altogether. A fun game to play.
While she took a huge sip from her beverage, she turned left to look at one of the tough guys, glaring at him before she put down her jug. “Oi, the hell you’re looking at, punk?” Instead of starting a fight, the man simply snickered (probably finding it ridiculous that a girl was trying to be en par with him) and looked to his own drink, minding his own business. Men really underestimated her for the frail frame she bore, but either way, it was disappointing that he was not ready to take a fight outside of the pub.
Eventually, the seat to her right was shuffled so someone could take a seat in it, she did not mind to turn her head to look -- if anything, she was used to (some very drunk men) hitting on her eventually... anyone intoxicated enough would find a tomboy like her just as alluring as some vixen, honestly. But she was not one to just sit around and take it, if anything, it was the perfect time to punch someone’s chin hard enough to K.O. him. To her surprise however, the guy simply ordered a drink and sat there quietly.
Curiously, she turned her head to see who she was dealing with: that guy really didn’t look like your average bousouzoku; messy, pitchblack hair, dark eyes, his facial features were rough and at the same time smooth which confused her -- his chin was prominent, while he had hardly any cheekbones, she couldn’t see much of his body, but she could tell that he was taking care of it due to the fact that he wasn’t as smelly as most men around here and he gave off a somewhat sporty type, too. Odd.
Another sip from her beer, she kept on obviously staring at the other with her ruby hues, leaning back to have a peek at the gang emblem on his back. “Mad Wonderland, huh...” She said loud enough for the stranger to hear, Yuuto really wasn’t one to simply keep to herself -- he peaked her interest, at least for the reason that he was not one of the washed-up generic gang boys that she (unfortunately) surrounded herself with. “Is this the rabbit hole in which Alice fell down? Haha...” She was not intending to make fun of the gang name -- if anything, she wanted to understand the reason behind such an obscure name. She was not all too deep into the whole gang code, so she wouldn’t know about codes that would imply drug dealing and such ---- but that didn’t matter to her.
“Let’s be real, you’re not a gang guy. You hardly look or smell like one. Are you some undercover cop or something?”
