I’m always asked in my ask box what my opinion on Thomas Barrow is by Anons. You guys are obsessed! :p Thomas Barrow is a dear friend of mine and I care for him very much. He and Anna were wonderful to me at Downton and I owe them so much. Thomas was a dear during the war and we worked very well together. We faced horrors in the War. Him being a stretcher barer out in the trenches, and myself being a nurse, witnessing many wounds, every one worse then the other. We both felt nothing but grief after the death of Lieutenant Courteney, and we made each other stronger. After I died and his secret involved with his sexually was revealed, all I wanted to do was be there for him so he could talk to someone. So he could open up his mind and get that burden of hiding himself off his chest. But I was gone before I was able to do that. Thomas Barrow is a wonderful soul, maybe not to everyone, but certainly to me. -Lady Sybil
