Sculpture Unveiling in Downtown Ithaca of Frances Perkins and Lucy Brown

Sculptures honoring former Secretary of Labor Frances Perkins and Lucy Brown, a woman who devoted her life to educational equity and affordable housing in Ithaca, will be unveiled August 17 in downtown Ithaca at 10 am. What brought you to Ithaca? I came to study at Ithaca College, and now I can't imagine leaving. 

What do you love about your job? I love when people take a bite of our delicious chocolates or pastries and their faces just light right up. It's nice to be able to give someone a little moment of happiness in their day.

What is the best kept secret or deal in your shop? Our hot chocolate! Made from whole milk, homemade chocolate ganache, and homemade whipped cream, it really doesn't get any better. It's like a meal in a cup.
