A year ago, when I started Downtown Volley a lot of people had doubts. I had doubts myself. And a lot of people laughed me off & didn't think twice about it. And I'm sure a lot of people still do. And due to certain recent life events I've been feeling so down on myself as a person and musician especially. But last night at The Vortex I performed smack dab in the middle of a hip-hop showcase and the love was absolutely unreal. I got my spark back and I've never been more passionate about my art. People sang along to every song with me, we all laughed and shared a moment in time that I truly will never ever forget. 6 months ago I played the barroom at The Vortex to about 5 people. Last night I played the main stage to a packed house and everyone loved it. Nobody talked over me and I honestly am forever grateful for everyone there. What started a year ago at open mic nights and opening acts for Filter has now become something great and the opportunities I've been given and friends I've made over my short one year tenure as a musician is crazy to me. There's so much more to come. Today, a wise man told me "some people have 'it' and some people don't. You definitely have 'it'." And I really do. The ball doesn't stop here. Like a rolling fucking stone, I'm moving forward and nobody's gonna slow me down. #downtownvolley (at The Vortex)
Today I am happy to announce that Saturday May 28th, I will be performing at The Foundry in Lakewood OH, as apart of The Best of Cleveland concert series. I have worked incredibly hard to be invited to play an event such as this one and it would mean the world to me if you all would come out to support. I may even be releasing the new EP on this day. You never know. So don't miss out. If you need more info contact me through here, Facebook or my personal cell. Support your local hippie and come to my show. #DowntownVolley
As of late, music has been taking the back seat in my life. Due to a full time job, not having a steady place to live or practice and just everything else going on I've kinda gotten away from Downtown Volley and my music. It's starting to take a toll on me emotionally and I need to get back to my passion and my art. I've got a lot of things in the works and I have a really big announcement tomorrow. I promise a new EP is coming soon. Thank you too all that support me & actually keep up with DV. Your support doesn't go unnoticed. #DowntownVolley

Today is my 20th birthday so here is a photo of myself and the woman who brought me into this world and has supported every day since. Thank you to my mother and my family for always standing behind me, and to everyone who has supported me over the years. Here's to #DowntownVolley and here's to another wonderful year.
