Just two weeks ago, LGBTQ students at Brigham Young University were cheering after the school deleted a section in its honor code that banned "homosexual behavior." But on Wednesday, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints poured cold water on their celebrations after it clarified that same-sex romantic behavior is still "not compatible" with BYU's principles.
When are people going to wake up and realize that religion itself is the root of ALL evil on earth? They literally created the concept and all the hate. All the “rules” that make one group or another: women, LGBTQ, Minorities, basically anyone not a white male, less than human were created by religion. Fostered by religion, pushed by religion. How many in history, not just in our current religions, but in all of human history, have died in the name of religions?? When will we evolve beyond our need for this “evil”?
