Honestly guys, I'm so hyped to be a parent. If parenthood is anything like the pride I feel for the people in my ward choir when they do a good job singing despite their sickness, old age, tone-deafness, and busy lives, I will have nothing less than a blast as a mother.

A friend at church told the story of how she had an extremely specific vision about moving to another country just before Covid, as well as the many ways she had to trust God to pave the way for her, her husband, and four young kids. People got have crazy lore, and they are sharing it with me! This makes me happy.

Then later that evening, me and friends were chatting on discord. I told them, "Guys, church is like a video game fr! I can feel my friendship meter with individual people going up when I interact with them, and it unlocks new dialogue options! It's so cool!!"

Then they made fun of me saying "Pov: Autistic girl discovers socialising👀" and "Almost as if video game mechanics were based off real life 😱" and I felt silly. Thank you, friends.

Tumblrstake, is it weird to actually love giving talks?

When my 1st bishopric counsellor mans called me this evening asking if I can give a 10-minute talk on reverence this Sunday, is it okay to have gotten excited because I haven't given a talk in a few months?

I get to think about the gospel I've come to love so much, and then I can share my thoughts with the people I've come to also love so much? FOR FREE???!?

ight folks. I need recommendations for songs to learn (potentially memorize) on my baritone ukulele that won’t send a bunch of (probably conservative and sheltered) Christian teenagers (i.e. fourteen year olds) into a heart attack. Any suggestions?

This isn't like with Jesus or Peter where you can debate what they actually may have said or written. Like, we HAVE COPIES of what he said. What, was he wrong? Once we agree to denounce the plural marriages thing, it turns into a free-for-all to dump anything that isn't mainstream Protestant enough?

Like...dude basically started his own country and DIED because he thought mainstream Protestantism was incorrect. Doesn't that mean anything?
