So my rambling in my first post actually made me think that Music Video Monday wouldn't be the worst theme. Considering I have quite an eclectic taste in music my aim would be to show off some musicians that aren't thrown in your face everyday on the TV or on the radio, so don't expect any Black Eyed Peas or Lady Gaga. For my first ever Music Video Monday I thought I'd keep it local with an Irish band that any of my friends or family who are forced to listen to my music should be all too familiar with...Fight Like Apes. They are quite possibly my favourite band ever, a combination of their weird, sometimes nonsensical lyrics to their fun and energetic music videos make them a treat for the eyes and ears. I also went to see them live three times and actually got to meet them twice, two out of three ain't bad, and i was delighted to find out they're just as awesome in person as their music would suggest. Also if you were a fan of wrestling back in the days of WWF as i was then there's some added awesome in the video for you. One last thing before i finish, as I said earlier one of the reasons i love FLApes are their odd lyrics and if you've already watched the video I'm sure you've noticed a few spots where the audio cuts. That's because the official music video is the clean version of the song. They cut my favourite lyric of the song, and possibly best quote in the world;
"He's about as much use a cuntless whore".
Pure poetry
