Happy Birthday Bear!
Mel had been planning this birthday surprise for Barrel for a long time, longer than she cared to admit. She wanted to surprise him and give him a birthday that he would never forget. She planned a "scavenger hunt" where she would make him run around school looking for clues and pieces and receiving his birthday gifts in the process. She knew he would probably get bored or annoyed but she hoped that he would go through with everything. She was the responsible for the first note but after that she left everything in the hands of her good friends who agreed to help her in this. With her friends taking care that the notes and the pieces of the puzzle she had time to set everything up before he would figure out the puzzle completely. She grabbed all the pillows and blankets she could find and took them to the roof of the dorm rooms. Her friends also helped her set up a table full of baked goods with a Halloween spirit in them and popcorn, lots of popcorn. She organized the pile of rented movies so it would be easier for him to choose. She had also carved a couple of pumpkins just in case it got dark and they needed some light. Everything was ready. She sat in the huge pile of pillows and blankets, hoping that he followed everything until the end so she could reveal her ultimate surprise. Of course that she could just set everything up and then text him to meet her there, but what fun would that be ? When she heard steps behind her she shot up from her pile, with her badger onesie on and smiled relieved to see him. "Happy Birthday Bear!" She giggled as she skipped to him and planted a kiss on his lips. She took his hand and started showing him everything. " Here you have mini pumpkin pies, because everything that is small is cute just like me. Halloween cake pops. Bloody cupcakes, the glass is edible it's just sugar. Popcorn, I hope you brought your own like I told you to, and a pumpkin cake. " She led him to the pile of movies that she had earlier organized "Here is almost every horror movie that I had and that the movie store had. They're all organized organized by date. And I downloaded a few of the newer ones. It's illegal. Shhh." She giggled. " And here is the pile of blankets and pillows that I stole from the common rooms. And that white thingie is where we're going to watch a movie or movies. Whatever floats your boat. " She sat back down in the pile and watched him "I hope you didn't get too annoyed. " She smiled at him, she really hoped that he liked the surprise. "Got your onesie ?" she asked him with a huge smile on her face that she tried her best to conceal but failed miserably to do so.
