“ Doctor , would you look at me the same “ “ With love , Blore ? “
“ ARMBLORE IS CANON ARMBLORE IS CANON BELIEVE US !!! “ >> pairing :: edward armstrong x william blore >> tw :: DOOMED yaoi ,, drinking ,, mentions of past murders ,, not exactly angst but … >> tags :: @mang0chees3 … I mean random anon who happens to know “And Then There Were None”!
Making a short post separately for this before the big 10-parter starts, part of wrapping up my thoughts on The Missing Three Quarter.
There's something that I haven't seen directly pointed out, even with the initial buzz around the creepy blood samples in this adventure.
When it comes to that phone conversation with Sherlock and Dr. Armstrong about the former's blood sample, there's someone who wants to buy it. Armstrong refuses to let Sherlock know his identity, just that's he's "very interested" in the sample and that he's fearsome. So, to us the listeners, probably Moriarty.
But there's the thing. If we assume that he's the buyer, then that logically means that he can't be the one who got the sample collected (somehow) from Sherlock. You don't buy something collected on your orders from one of your own henchmen.
So, if we assume 1) the blood samples are real, 2) that the "buyer" is real, and 3) Moriarty is involved, then either Moriarty ordered the sample collected in the first place, or he's the one who wants to buy it. He can't be both.
If Moriarty is the buyer, which seems like the interpretation that most are going with and that generally lines up with Armstrong's implications, then that means that the sample collection must've happened separately from him, and Armstrong doesn't work for him (since he says that he'll be able to stave him off).
So, that's two mystery players here. Not just one.
Working under the three assumptions above...Someone wants the blood from Sherlock. Someone else got it first.
thinking so hard about @corntort ‘s sfarx design after reading sfarx fanfic (brain explosion) … i would not want to put my arms in there but armstrong is braver than any us marine 🫡
i think maybe i wildly overestimated how big sfarx is but shhh maybe armstrong is just really teeeeny tiny… just a little guy tiny little armstrong tiny like an ant…. teeny old man small emoji tiny small man … puny …

Could you get away with murder?
❝ No! I’m not a good liar. Under questioning I unravel quickly. As a kid, I’d steal the last sweet, eat it and be fine, but if my mum asked, “Did you eat the last sweet?” I’d crumble. ❞
