what does Kiss Me and Cry have to say about this album?
"𝐑𝐄𝐃, 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 is meant to relate to and capture our different romantic relationships in life, taking inspiration from the band's experience itself. I like to think that "My Beloved" resonates deep with those who has longing trapped in their bones; and that "I Do(n't)" captures the comphet that one may feel, pressured into a straight relationship because that's what's "right"."
– Amara, Lead Vocalist
what does Kiss Me and Cry have to say about this album?
"The concept of 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐍 𝐖𝐄 𝐆𝐎 is that as we get close to, or into, the sun, we're burnt down to the core, stripped to the point where we lose even our skinsuits. The idea that Amara was toying with was that at that point, what would you find? if you were to strip every human being down where we lose our bodies and have no need to live anymore, what's left? (laughs) She's dramatic like that.
I think the conclusion she reached was that we'd be nothing but our emotions then, and that's what birthed the album. Our fans have noticed this, but yes, we tried to capture how each emotion felt and translate that to music, whether that is through our instruments or the way 'mara sings."

what does Kiss Me and Cry have to say about this album?
(Rowan, the bassist, nudges Amara, causing the others to laugh. She clears her throat, sitting up straighter to answer the interviewer.)
"Before we get into it, I honestly had no idea that this album would blow up so much. (laughs) I think there's just something so human about relationships that won't, can't work out, and yet both parties refuse to let go. I've been fascinated with these my whole life, dreaming up scenarios after scenarios of how it'd go. 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐔𝐏? was... slightly inspired by my own life, with a "gorgeous blonde" like I sang about, though that is over now. (pause, looks into the camera) it is.
I'm sure that most of us are aware of the implications behind the phrase "u up?" alone, with the hookup culture that our society has adopted, but i like to think that the difference between that and "you up?" is that the person has taken the time to spell out the word "you", indicating some level of care to it. the question here is, however, does that care matter when the intention behind it all is the same?"
