Edward-

How patient is your OC? How hot-headed are they? In most situations, Edward seemingly has never ending patience; though, when it comes to Bright, he gets more pushy and impatient than he would with others. With certain topics (Ill treatment of SCPs/D-class, the O5, ect) he's very quick to anger and becomes rather stubborn and defensive.

Does your character have any scars? Where did they get them from? He has multiple scars from various SCPs and breaches, most notably being a scar that starts at his right shoulder and ends at the end of his left rib cage. Cause is unknown, as he was knocked unconscious.

Does your character like candy? Do they get sugar rushes? What are they like when they get a rush? He typically avoids most sweets, though if people around him have them he'll ask for (or simply take) a bite. He doesn't get sugar rushes.

Adaline-

How patient is your OC? How hot-headed are they? Adaline has absolutely no patience. She is the type to incessantly ask "are we there yet?" On a road trip and whine every time the answer is no. She tends to not get angry, instead settling for pouting and whining.

Does your character have any scars? Where did they get them from? Due to her differing anatomy she heals much too quickly to form scars.

Does your character like candy? Do they get sugar rushes? What are they like when they get a rush? She absolutely loves candy. When having a sugar rush, she gets more hyper than usual and has the tendency to sit and talk really fast to anyone who's nearby. If not, she'll switch from task to task to task until she eventually exhausts herself and comes down from the sugar high.

Could you tell us more about Edward?

Backstory/General: So, in the au/canon I'm setting my OCs in, Edward is the son of one of the O5's and his mother previously being a top researcher, because of this his father was extremely distant, Eddie only meeting him a few times and never fully face to face. Because of his father's importance, he and his mother moved every few months, from country to country and continent to continent. Until the age of 14, when he was transferred to live permanently at the foundation and conpleate his studies there until the age of 18, when he could work for the foundation.

Appearance: Edward is roughly 5'10"(177cm) and of lanky build. He has both Albinism and heterochromia, causing his right eye to be a dark, purplish red while the left is a mix of both red and green. His hair, naturally, is a light blond; but, he tends to dye it a dark brown. Along with dying his hair, he wears a green and brown contact to hide his eyes.

Personality: outwardly, he appears very serious though is much like the others when it comes to chaotic and dumb ideas. He's also increadly passionate about his work at the foundation, often rambling about the SCPs to anyone who will listen. Along with that, he advocates for better treatment of both d-class and the SCPs, often going against O5 orders to help. Due to his childhood, he feels increadibly isolated and will tend to latch on emotionally to anyone he can; and since their work partnership, Eddie considers himself increadly close to Bright, along with being close friends with Glass.

I don't have a self insert exactly, but more so a collection of OCs.

The first is Edward "Eddie" Klaus Hansen, Brights Assistant. In my AU the timeline is...a lot different and Bright isn't as old.

Next is D-6862, or Ben. He accidentally stumbled upon the foundation and, since they couldn't just let him go after what he saw, he was made into a d-class.

Lastly is my newest OC and the least developed and the most non-cannon. Jason "Jace" Bright, Jack Brights twin.

I do have a few SCP OCs, as in actual SCPs but I'm focused more on these guys. If you want to, feel free to ask more about them!
