Okay so brain surgeons and rocket scientists are both high paying and demanding jobs. Considering Club Banana is a Banana Republic/Club Monaco parody a nice leather jacket likely costs between $100-$600. It’s expensive but not for people in these two professions, especially when you consider they both seemed to be in leadership roles.

And yet in the season 1 episode Bueno Nacho, Kim’s parents make her work at Bueno Nacho in order afford the jacket. She also seemed to know they wouldn’t get it for it her, even before she asked. They clearly want their daughter to learn the value of the dollar and she knows that is going to be the choice they make.

Unrelated but they also also seem to spend a lot of time with their kids despite having these jobs and like always support each other. No ones work is ever less important.

I know its a made up disney world but like Dr. and Dr. Possible are couple goals, and a really good example of having it all and I will never be over how amazing they are. And I might be watching youtube clips and obsessing over them atm.
