This post is only a few months behind… BUT regardless of that fact, I had the highlight of my year and a major check off of my bucket list happen in July! I got to meet THE Dr. Jazzwave in person for a weekend at Tokyo, OK! I have only ever met one mutual in person before this and you were the first other plague doctor friend to meet up with. It was an AMAZING experience even though we were both definitely shy to each other at first - and that I had to just trust that I was shoving my girlfriend out of the car for the right person and not a total stranger when she had to take an exam in your hotel room while I found parking (obviously the best way to meet someone for the first time of course!)

Roller coasters are scary but nothing had my heart racing like knowing that my BUDDY is around this corner and I’m about to SEE them with my own two eyes for the first time. Such a weird feeling to know someone for over a year online and still be so shy to see them in the flesh👀

Having a plague doctor buddy to run around with made the convention that much more fun!! I can’t remember how many times we were compared to spy versus spy, but a lot of photos were taken of us and now your lovely costume is officially known in the world outside of Tiktok! It was an honor to walk alongside you as you debuted Jazz publicly.

I do very much hope to see you and your partner again soon, I always smile when our photos together come across my screen and it’s truly an honor to now call you my in real life friends💙💜
