PPP’s Dr. Nduom: Inclusiveness is my hallmark
Dr. Paa kwasi Nduom has taunted his “all inclusiveness” credentials putting himself ahead of the other presidential candidates saying it is his “hallmark.”
“If you read our political platform, first of all, it says that we would implement the agenda using the spirit of inclusiveness that enables us to use the best Ghanaians regardless of what political party they had joined or supported; regardless of where they come from in the country; regardless of religious affiliation…Where the best people are around the table, good things happen…”he said.
“…let people not prejudge because we have competent men and women in the PPP who we would use, but in addition I have dedicated and committed myself to the spirit and letter of inclusiveness and so I would use the best men and women. Inclusiveness is my hallmark and we do have the men and women,” he hammered.
The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) candidate said this when he engaged the nation in an open discussion on his vision for the country using Google’s newest platform, Google+Hangout on the “citi Breakfast Show” on Citi FM on Wednesday, 5 September.
Dr. Nduom further exclusively hinted that his running-mate ahead of the December polls might be a woman.
Though he fell short of giving any names, Dr. Nduom said that potential running mates have been short-listed to four, two of which are women.
He added that the criteria for a running mate "has been a lot on the area of competence and dedication to public service".
The PPP candidate is the second political figure after the New Patriotic Party’s running-mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in Ghana to engage the nation in an open discussion on his vision for the country using a Google+ Hangouts on Air.
