DR Spoilers: It's interesting how Hope's Peak Academy is portrayed over the course of the DR series. In the first game, it is shown as a portrayed as a good and noble institution that was ruined by Junko. Then DR2 and ADG revealed it's darker sides like it's Caste System between SHSLs and non-SHSLs, high money costs for non-SHSLs (to stay financially afloat), horrible bullying (both by Teachers and Students), and twisted experiments that only needed Junko to give it one last push for it to fall.

Indeed! As long as the series runs, they keep getting better and better and put a lot of thought into each and every aspect of the series, although it does raise a lot of questions as well. I pray that Kodaka was really serious in making both the animes as the cue for closing the curtain for the HPA arc, but there are too many questions I want answered and I doubt they’ll be :’)If you’ve read DR Zero, you’d also be able to see the inner workings of the school a lot more (and also more on how rotten it already was). It was already ripe for the taking for Junko, like HPA was the perfect source for her to get just the right ingredients she needed. Honestly, after all that I’ve seen I couldn’t put all the blame on Junko, because HPA also had quite a lot of faults that caused the Tragedy. I’m not surprised though, because after learning HPA was not technically a school, rather it was just a front, since their main goal was research and all that stuff. And idk when it just comes to intense research not everything would turn out pretty, since they would go to such great lengths just to fulfill their mission, doing all kinds of work, like using teens as their guinea pigs ;_;
