the nashville chronicles
we arrived sunday night. simon was ready to stretch his little legs. we rented a car - got a free upgrade to drive a small bus (a buick enclave). checked into the hotel. settled in for a short nap.
chad is in meetings all day through thursday. my job is to find us a new nest.
i acclimated myself to nashville on monday. i also made an appointment to see our 'dream house', which was maybe even more impressive in real life. we let the owners know that we'd love to live there. now we're standing by to see if we are the lucky winners! (apparently there were over 50 applicants -- good grief!)
this morning i met with my NEW obgyn -- dr. crowe! she is part of the women's health group at baptist hospital. she, and the rest of the practice, had rave reviews on yelp. i guess that's how i made my big decision.
i really liked her. she was wearing converse low-tops, scrubs, and her hair in two pigtails. seriously. she was incredibly impressed that we had such an easy experience with our first round of ivf/transfer. (i told her i never had a doubt!)
and then i got a 'freebee' ultrasound! yep -- i got to see little lovie AGAIN! she's looking more formed, but not quite yet to the 'gummy bear' stage. we could see her heart beating away... it's such a delight EVERY TIME!
more house hunting tomorrow (unless we hear that we're the lucky winners of the 'dream home' -- fingers crossed!)
