***Spoilers below the cut!! Please note: The R cards (Azul, Epel, Vil, Malleus) do not have new illustrations.***
The best Twisted Wonderland cards are the ones that include other characters than just the focused character of the card. All of these cards are from the all new 2025 Christmas event, Lost in the Book with Nightmare Before Christmas - The First Christmas.

Slowly, the roots began to move, twisting and creaking. The Doctor took a step back and watched as the roots curled themselves away from each other, revealing… a door.
My rewrite of Long Live the Pumpkin Queen is here! Well, the first chapter anyway. The rest will come later. This rewrite has been bouncing around in my head for the past couple of years, and I am happy to finally show it to all of you!
Please enjoy. Comments are greatly appreciated!
Okay but I’m just saying there is no way that loboto didn’t take inspiration from this duck-like gremlin.
"Average Halloween Town resident poisons 3 others a year" factoid actually just statistical error. Sally Finkelstein is an outlier and should not have been counted.
TNBC Valentine’s AU: Introduction
Welcome to my Valentine’s TNBC AU! Which contains my own version of Valentine’s Town and starring, Sally, a ragdoll native to the Valentine’s Realm. A brief introduction is below. This AU is still in the works! I’m unsure if I will end up writing a fanfiction series about this but I’m hoping I’ll have the motivation to make some small comics in the future. So far, regarding content, all I have for this AU is a special animatic. Thanks to the song I’ll be using, I got inspired to at least write this post. Please note, consider the following details as a draft. I’m unsure if I will want to change up some things in the future. While I highly doubt it, I just wanted to make a brief mention, just in case.
The Pumpkin King sat alone, once again, atop spiral hill. Jack and Zero saved the day, defeated Oogie, and thankfully, left on good terms with Sandy Claws. He may have fixed his mistakes and learned a new life lesson but he still carried that familiar sorrow that ached deep his bones. With the spark of the holiday spirit still restless within, Jack decides to take a personal vacation to visit the other holiday realms. New discoveries means meeting new friends, except Jack gets more than just a friend.
Running into an odd elderly couple, Finkelstein and Jewel, are retired cupid angels. Jack meets their daughter, Sally, who is an “angelic cupid” made from ragdoll parts. Sally was brought to life by wish fulfilling dandelion fluffs fueled by the love between Finklestein and Jewel. Immediately becoming entranced, Jack is determined to be best friends with her. Sally shows Jack around Valentine’s Town and they develop a strong bond. Now pen pals, Finklestein disapproves of their friendship as Jack isn’t from Valentine’s Town. Being against the mingling of other holiday’s, Finklestein does not want Sally exploring other realms out of curiosity. He fears Jack is a distraction from her duties as a citizen of Valentine’s Town. In addition, he worried about risking exposing her to the potential dangers outside an unknown world.
Finklestein may be a cupid angel but he’s also scientist who makes love potions and other romance related items. After damaging his wings in accident, causing him to fall onto the hard ground, he was paralyzed from the waist down. As Cupid’s royal appointed scientist, Cupid magically created his lifetime caretaker and wife, Jewel. The only price Finklestein paid was giving up his already damaged wings to help bring Jewel to life.
Jewel was an exception as Cupid did not allow his cherubs to date outside of their realm. Yet, Jewel wasn’t considered an outsider as she was made with the help of Finklestein’s wings. Additionally, an angel’s partner’s are already chosen by destiny and the highest form of compatibility. No one has changed their destined partner. Understanding both rules, Finklestein worries about potential social isolation for Sally for falling in love with a stranger not from their realm.
Sally naturally disagrees with the idea of a destined partner and believes in free will and personal choices. Finklestein, determined to make her an angel due to “losing” his position, he locks her up at home. Jack, also disagreeing with the concept of destiny, he goes to Cupid himself for a friendly discussion. Cupid is presented Jack and Sally’s romantic feelings but disagrees with an “outsider” dating a Valentine’s Town resident. Sally may be a unique case, as she wasn’t born an angel. However, he respects Finklestein and wants to help Sally to become a true angelic cupid. Plus, Sally is still tied to Valentine’s Town as she was a wish fulfilled from dandelions native to Valentine’s Town.
Jack now has to convince Cupid that destiny can be changed and that there is nothing wrong with citizens from other realms, even if there is risk of distraction or difference. Jack uses his incident and friendship with Sandy Claws as an example. As for Sally, she wants to help convince Cupid and argues for the choice of free will and her autonomy.
Eventually, Cupid is convinced and changes his mind after thinking about their arguments. Cupid has now learned a few new things from Jack and Sally and so will Finklestein. This incident teaches Finklestein a lesson in letting go, loving someone enough to let them go and do what’s best for themselves. In addition, it means letting go of his own past, as well.
Jack’s determination and loyalty shows Sally that Finklestein’s love, was flawed and controlling. This causes Sally to move in with Jack in Halloween Town. Sally learns the true meaning of what all types of love are and the beauty that is when two people from different worlds get together.
Extra Notes:
Cupid may be magical but he has his limitations and often needs ingredients to help him perform magic.
His angels/cherubs are gifted the inherent knowledge of who’s meant to be with who, so they always know who to target when using their crossbow.
Angels who make bows and arrows for cupid angels to use are the same terms used in real life (ie. bowyer, fletcher, and arrowheads).
Love potions are really, a protective oil that’s poured onto the angel’s bows and arrows. The name is used this way because the oil helps fortify the bows and arrows, ensuring loved ones get together. Angel’s shooting their targets occur when 2 people initiate a relationship.
There different types of bow’s and arrows and each one represents a sexuality. There are even aromantic, asexual, and aplatonic bows and arrows.
Regarding the aroace and aplatonic bows, when a target is shot it just means that person has finally figured out their identity.
There are many types of angels. We have Cupid’s angels, gardeners, farmers, beekeepers, chocolatiers, candy makers, bakers, chefs, cloud keepers, babysitters/nursing, jewlers, decor makers, card makers, and mail-angels.
The minute a cupid angel turns 1, they are taught skills related to cupids. These are cherubs.
All cupid angels have a swirly heart pattern on their wings.
Sometimes the mail-angels and cupid angels help storks to ensure a baby is delivered to the right people.
Average animals exist in Valentine’s Town but there are a few species that are considered special. These include sheep/lambs, canines, cats, honeybees, and birds.
