Ella sweeps the pie of hair into the bin. "Sorry sir, didn't mean to get it on you." But Dr. Mink is already beyond enraged. "U HAVIN' THE AUDACITYS"
Ella explains herself: "I've got music at 11. There's no way I'm gonna get sent home early. <3" She considers the problem fixed and leaves the office quietly, with a "If you'll excuse me" on the way out.
Mink picks up the phone and dials a number.

Creator: Im tired (she is tired from travelling to the office in person)

mink: (fallen flat on his face) she

Despite Dr. Mink’s cries of “oi” and “what r u DOIN”, Ella cuts her hair. All of it. The sound of snipping fills the room and when it is done, the brown roots that were starting to show in Ella’s hair is the only hair on her head.
The girl exhales. “phew. Better?”
Dr. Mink, covered in streams of discarded hair, sits in stunned silence.

Ella listens to her headteacher’s lecture with wide eyes.
Dr Mink: “in da rulez it says no fun hair colours. u breakin da rulez”
He starts to type at his computer. “imma write a letter u can take home to u parents. u not comin back till the hair is fixed”
He says, “im pressin print” but Ella isn’t listening. She gets to her feet dramatically.
“WAIT.”
And reaches for the scissors in Dr. Mink’s pot of pens.
