Dr. Quantum is a mad scientist which is a single father of 7 children, 4 who are biological and 3 who he created. When he was 15, at school, he had to make a specimen with his other classmates. When it was the day where they had to present the specimen to the class, it ripped his eye out. That’s why he has only one eye and always wears goggles, just in case it happens again.

So Nick sent me this article to read about "Spooky Action at a Distance"
which led me to the wiki page about Action at a distance,
