my english teacher is honestly the best oh my god

So a therapist… Oh well I’m sorry… A doctor because she’s a ph. D in psychology well the only one in my building came in my office today.

Which is rare. Oddly there’s a big separation of dst’s, case managers, therapists and doctors in my office. Anyways so I have a family of hers on my caseload. Oh I think I should mention she’s from South Korea I think. Enough with the randomness. She’s a tiny androgynous Asian dr who has a crazy problem with OCD but she is probably the best behavioral therapist I’ve seen. Plus I think she’s great if you can understand her thick thick accent. Which I can. Anyways so she’s pumped in my office so loud because she’s just dealt with this family we share and the parents were really getting heated like angry and almost in a fist fight and she said she almost had to call a Dr. Strong which in my office is code for “hey I need help and someone may need to be restrained” and all CPI trained individuals are supposed to show up. So people are staring in my office because for 1 she never goes into anyone’s office and 2 she’s being super loud because she’s pumped on adrenaline. Anyways I felt pretty good because she thanked me for working with the family and even apologized for getting on me about the treatment plan.

You know it’s nice to get a pat on the back and told you’re appreciated even more so from the overly bright and educated eccentric doctor in the office. Yeah. I feel like I’m a pretty good case manager…. Well case manager 2 if you want to be specific haha

By the way, every time they call Dr. Strong over the intercom in my office I always get excited and scared. Just because we never see action. Inpatient unit always calls over our intercom because it’s across the street. I’m supposed to go but I never do. Ya I'm a chicken. I’m also scared someone may be throwing poo or something and no way do I want to walk into that.
