In the novel Dr.Chandra died because of “Broken Heart Syndrome”, i am going to die on that hill that this was the reason he “mysteriously died out of sudden”(Not to mention that it was literally mentioned in the novel that he simply couldn´t life without Hal, though that was only a suggestion by Rudenko the medic i believe)

Concern and worry plague Sal and Hal, Dr.Chandra tries his best to handle this rather uncomfortable position somehow.(and yes, Sal has short hair again)

Whenever i watch Dr.Chandra re-activate Hal in the Sequel of 2001, something inside of me dies and makes me incredibly moved. I always will fondly remember the very moment Hal came back to life and how the Doctor gave him a gentle pat, as if to welcome him back <3
