What if the hidden text calling for help is Ralsei? I mean people keep saying it sounds like Asriel, and waking up in a dark world with no one around would be pretty frightening. It’d make sense that he borders the wall in some way as well since he references game mechanics multiple times when explaining things.
I love everyone drawing Jevil’s tail like one of those plastic bits that hold price tags onto toys or clothes. Really works well with the unused classroom of toys fantasy thing.

That totally implies a history of Kris running away at some point, be it from their past parents, an orphanage, or even away from Toriel’s at some point. I think some fun headcanons and scenarios can spawn from this.
So I know I already talked about this on a reblog, but here’s a stand alone post too.
The ball of junk is totally your items from the Dark. You don’t have it before your adventure, and if you still have Dark Candy when you leave, then the ball smells like marshmallows. It does not otherwise.
This implies that we’ll be able to have our items still when we return (unless you were a jerk and tossed it) and also gives some fodder to the toy theory.
Undertale is totally the AU
I can’t believe I just barely noticed the Undertale logo is all caps while the Deltarune logo is all lowercase.
Could this allude to something like Papyrus’s all caps vs Sans all lowercase, or Gaster’s all caps vs, someone else.. or is it just another way to drive home just how flipped the script is here?

Fountains, plural. We only know of two dark fountains in game, though I doubt Ralsei would want us to close the one giving his body form. Perhaps there are lightner equivalents that we’ve gotta close, fountains of light. Or maybe there are more dark ones scattered throughout town. If we combine this with my 3 Kingdom theory in the school then it could just mean the left and right fountains. Or perhaps we really are supposed to end the dark realm entirely and shut all their fountains. Maybe the whole creation aspect was a one time deal and they’d all stay alive, but even so, that means Kris and co wouldn’t be able to visit anymore, or at least, not leave once they do.
