After a quick stop at a local sandwich shop, we headed to our hotel. Unloading the vehicle of our luggage, we got placed it in our room, ate, and then headed back to the station.
JJ and Prentiss made me feel welcome, we were almost back to the station, when my phone rang. Pulling it out of my pocket, Prentiss glanced back at me.
“(Y/L/N). I’m with JJ, and Prentiss, coming back from the hotel. I’m sorry Sir, I was told, there wouldn’t be a problem. As soon as I get back, yes Sir.”
Closing my eyes, I slid the phone back in my pocket, looking out the window, I realized, I’d just screwed up, broken protocol. I’d left without asking permission from my superior.
“Everything okay (Y/L/N)?” JJ asked.
I smiled, nodding my head. “It’s fine.” I didn’t want to tell her or Prentiss, the anger that oozed from Hotchner’s voice. JJ pulled into the parking lot of the station, I put my handle of the door.
Prentiss turned to stop me. “Let me talk to him. Tell him I told you it was okay to go.”
I shook my head. “I need to deal with this.” Getting out of the SUV, I walked inside the station. Looking around, I spotted him right away, his arms crossed over his chest, his eyes looking at me disapprovingly. Walking towards him, his demeanor didn’t change.
I opened my mouth to apologize, he held up a hand. “Save the apologies (Y/L/N), I’m not sure what the procedure was in your previous department, but you need to clear it with me before you leave.”
“Yes Sir, it won’t happen again.”
“See that it doesn’t or I’ll be forced to release you from your position at the BAU.”

History, A Drabby Para
Draco, although torn and broken, managed to go on with his fifth year. He was given his wand back after passing his OWLs, receiving perfect O's in each subject. That summer was one of his worst, being alone had been taking it's tole on him. Draco spent most of his time secluded to his room; keeping away from the kitchen as it reminded him of Abby. He couldn't even look at Dobby without getting enraged. He often wondered if it was wrong for him to get off at the fact that if Abby knew how much worse he had begun to treat Dobby, it would slay her.
Draco never went to the Chateau, or France for that matter, fearing that he would run into her. Fearing that, she would be there with someone else. That, Abby would have taken the Chateau for herself. But he knew that she would obey his last order of never going back to it, he knew she would never set foot near it.
It was the last week of summer vacation when the Dark Lord himself had summoned Draco. It was in that meeting that Draco was forced into his first mission, his first test. B He had been able to do one part, he found a way to get the Death Eaters into the castle. Though, he couldn't kill Dumbledore. He couldn't, but he had to.
The memory itself was a fresh nightmare in his mind; he could draw the sight with his eyes closed. He remembered standing across from Dumbledore on the Astronomy tower, thinking only two things: I've uttered an unforgivable curse on this tower before, I can do it again. And, Dumbledore has saved me from Azkaban many times, and now I'll be sent for his death. The person that had come to his aid that night, Draco had to move him up on the list of people Draco allowed himself to fear. Snape had uttered the two words with such ease, with such finesse, they almost sounded as if words of endearment. They sounded as if he had an understanding with Dumbledore. Draco was relieved they had not come from his mouth. Although the moment had destroyed Draco, it had also given him and Snape a stepping stone. The two of them were no longer at each other's necks constantly, no longer fighting of Draco's love for Abigail. They were a team of sorts, and Draco was sure Abby could have seen this. Draco should have seen this coming ever since the night he and Snape had crucio'd Blaise on the Astronomy tower.
In the summer after his sixth year, Draco made the decision to continue at Hogwarts; though he had a new air about him. He was of age that June, and had been on multiple missions with other Death Eaters by the time September first rolled around. He spent most of his seventh year with Snape at this point; talking, planning, studying. Snape was the Headmaster, and Draco was soon becoming known as Snape's new pet. It was obvious what had been going on, with the Carrows around. It was obvious of Draco's position. It was obvious, he knew, as he acted alongside Snape and the Carrows, doing things a seventeen year old should never even had heard of.
By December that year, the Death Eater in Draco had completely taken over. He left the school to pursue this as a full time job, quickly rising through the ranks until he was on a level playing field with Snape. Draco had learned the ways of planning attacks from Snape, though relearned his interrogation skills from his Aunt.
He had become rugged; a stone that could not be moved, broken down, or even phased by most things. Draco had not forgotten about Abby, it was impossible due to her face being on a wanted poster. But he had no time for relationships, no time to devote to a woman. The war had become his woman, the war had become his everything.
For Abby.
