Date on a Tower

It was about 8pm and Rikku was getting impatient. She couldn't believe why she was even doing this, she barely knows the guy! There was something about him however....something she couldn't shake until she knew what it was. “Ok this is bullshit! I'm gone.” Rikku shouted right before she started to storm off. Before she could make it more then 3 feet from where she waited Ryo dropped in like a meteor.

“JESUSFuCKWHATHEGOODGODAMN!” Rikku was put aback a bit. This was a first, someone showing up like a fucking superhero from the sky.

“Thanks Lanie!” Ryo waves at his Dragonite and turned to see Rikku still in a bit of shock. “Sorry. I forgot I forget that some people are actually surprised when I fall in...”

Rikku shook off the shock long enough to form a complete thought. “You mean you just.....do that?? Like all the time??”

“Well yeah. My Friend owns that gym for learning Parkour and the like and I visit her via what I like to call the Sky Door” Ryo laughed a bit embarrassed.

“That's.....kinda kick ass. I need to go there.....We should go there. Take me there.” Rikku demanded. She stood with purpose, arms on hips, eyes focused on Ryo's showing a glint of guilt to push her case a bit. Ryo was a bit nervous now that she was being a little more demanding. “W-what? Now?”

“Duh.” “She's probably not even home....” “Lie.” “It's late. She is going to kick my ass if I just sky dive into her place at 8 at night!” “She would not.” “You vastly underestimate this person and their ability to suplex. Also the elaborate Booby traps.” “You're making shit up now.” “I wish I was......I REALLY wish I was.”

Rikku glares at Ryo hoping he will break but he refuses knowing his friend Cat would in fact suplex him for taking a stranger into her Gym at night. “Look how about we go a different day. You know during the day........with witnesses.....and sunlight......”

Rikku huffed and folded her arms. “Fine but I'm holding you to that.” Ryo sighed in relief. “Ok now to show you the thing I was going to in the first place.” He calls out the Twin Dragons, Cayenne and Jalapeno. Ryo climbs on the Black Charizard. “These are the Twins Jalapeno and Cayenne. Cayenne is a shiny as you probably guessed. Don't worry though, Peno won't let anything happen. Climb on his back and we can go.” Ryo smiled as the Charizard leans down to let Rikku on it's back. She leaned back a bit hesitating but climbs on.

The Twins take them to the top on the tower nearby. The two trainers climb off and Ryo leans against the railing and motions at the two Lizards. “Ok now watch this. It's kind of impressive...”

“It better be....” Rikku mumbled to herself as she looked where Ryo was pointing. In the distance she saw the Twins flying at them at a high speed. Right before they get too close they veer up and split off each other and then shoot fire in an X shape. One sustains the fire X as the other flies up and through the flames. As it flies through the flames it Mega Evolves. The other flies through as well and also mega evolves. As the Dragon's preform Rikku looks on in Awe and confusion. “How are you able to sustain both of them?”

Ryo leans back a bit. “Conditioning. Thanks to my Jackass Ampharos. He likes to be Mega Evolved all the time. Granted I follow league rules when battling regarding Mega Evolution and I can only really hold up 2 at once but it's kinda useful.”

After the Two charizard spit two colored flames to create a purple burst they flew up next to the trainers and reverted back. “Plus this show payed for the electric bill.”

“Your Electric bill?” “Yeah, I'm a street Vendor at Coumarine and some I had to kick some dudes ass to get my spot back...In the meantime I had to come up with cash somehow....especially after burning all my League funds.” “Wait YOU are a Champion??” “Yeah, Johto, Hoenn and Here in Kalos.” “How did you blow ALL That money??” “I am a very injury prone individual. I've been to the Hospital like 12 times in the last 2 years.” “Why not take on another league then?” “I was thinking about it yeah....I just don't know which one...” “Sinnoh.” “Are....are you serious?” Ryo wasn't sure if she meant it as a joke or if she was serious... “YES! It's where my money is from!” “YOU ARE A SINNOH CHAMP?” “Of course! I was born in Jubilife and beat the league like a year and a half ago.” “Wow....I don't know though....”

Rikku gave a smirk as she dose when she gets ideas. “How about a competition then?” Ryo looked intrigued. “A Competition? You have my attention.” “I'm taking on the Hoenn League once I'm done with Kalos. How about we see who becomes champ first! Me in Hoenn or You in Sinnoh.”

Ryo scratched his chin. That sounded fun and he did need to stretch his trainer legs a bit more. “You are on! What happens if I win?” Rikku thought for a minute and whispered something in Ryo's ear. He blushed and turned to her. “Ok...Add a date and it's a deal!” “Alright. If I win......You give me room and board for 2 weeks.” “Where?” “Your house dumbass.” “WAIt WHAT?” “I need a place to crash after my Hotel kicks me out.” “Alright I guess....” “IT'S SETTLED THEN” Rikku walks towards the edge of the balcony they have been on. “This was fun. Thanks......oh! And Check the Orange one's mega stone.” She waves and hops off. Sending out her Pidegotto and flying back down. “What....” Ryo walks over to Peno and checks hi Mega Stone bracelet. It has a piece of paper with Rikku's number on it. “How did she turn the tables so fast?!”

A Chance Meeting

Rikku had been in Luminose less then an hour and already wanted to leave but her new Charmander, Kero, and Pikachu, Blue, twisted her arm a bit and she decided to stay. She walked around for a while and saw a rather strange sight in south boulevard. A boy on a Grachomp. Now the fact he was on the Garchomp wasn't what was strange, it was the fact the Grachomp was unsattled and eating his weight in Sitrus Berries. 

She stared on for a while and didn't take notice of her Turtwig, Jr, making a B-line for the Land Shark's berries. The small pokemon started to jump at the Berries before the Trainer took notice and the Boy jumped off and patted his Garchomp's face away from Jr to keep from a all out berry based fight. He took a handful of berries and gave them to the Turtwig. "He little dude. Where did you come from? You got a Trainer?" the boy asked.

Rikku walked up to them and glared a bit at Jr. "Yeah. Me. The little bottomless pit is mine." She scoffed.

The Boy looked up and smiled. "Oh! He is kinda adorable....I know how you feel though, Rocket here eats....well everything that he can think of."

Rikku picked up Jr and looked at the boy. He was kinda cute in an annoyingly dorky way. Reminded her a bit of Andy but not as much of a fucking tool. She didn't realize how long she had been staring at him until he turned and stared back a bit. After about 10 minutes the boy breaks their deadlock stare and silence.

"I don't know who you are but I will be damned if I lose to a stranger at a staring contest." He said and smirked. Rikku realized what she had been doing and blushed a bit.

"S-shut up! I was just.....you're fucking weird! People stare at weird thing all the time!" She protested and turned around quickly to hide her embarrassment. "And I'm not some stranger. My name is Rikku."

"Well Rikku, I'm Ryo. Nice to beat you at a staring contest." Ryo climbs on his garchomp and pets him a bit. "So what brings you to Luminose? You don't seem to fond of the joint." He asks.

"What's it to you?" Rikku snapped. 

Ryo shrugged. "I was just wondering is all. Don't gotta be all bitchy about it..."

".........I am taking on the league and Sycamore wanted me to stop by after I got my first Kalos Badge." Rikku said halfheartedly. She failed to notice the Garchomp had walked up next to her and Ryo was right next to her face.

"I see." "AH!" Rikku instinctively smacks Ryo and Ryo nearly falls off Rocket. "Holy shit you have an arm!" "WELL DONT GET SO CLOSE TO MY FACE YOU GOD DAMN MORON!"

Ryo laughs and climbs back into place. "So you are a new trainer?"

"No. I beat the Sinnoh League last Spring." Rikku answered. "Really? Damn. These new Kalos trainers keep getting more impressive...." Ryo scratched his chin for a few seconds as Rikku stood awkwardly trying not to look him in the face.

"Here's an idea." Ryo pulled out his caster. "How about you come to the Luminose Gym? Not to Challenge it. Not yet. Meet me there and I'll show you something cool." Rikku turned and gave Ryo a strange look. "W....what."

"Or not. Up to you. But You might regret it if you don't~" Ryo signaled Rocket to head off. "See you tonight!" He said as he made his way off to wherever the hell he was going.

Rikku, still red in the face looked down to Jr. "Who the hell does he think he is? Fucking Peter Parker?" The Turtwig tilted it's head and made and confused noise.

"Shut up Jr."

Listings (Apartment AU)

It has been about all of three hours since Ryo moved out because his mom "is a dumbass and locked him out for the last god damn time." He has had all his stuff sitting on the bench in the park he was planning to sleep in before a newspaper slapped him upside the face and mouth. 

Ironically, it was the apartment listings. "Is this a divine sign??? Is this....*wipes tear* hope for the future?" Ryo said a single hobo tear in his homeless eye. "Ok which one costs me the least......THAT ONE." He points to an ad asking for a roommate. 

"Come Tsuna we have a place to live." Ryo motions the small Cat he had living in his pack to follow him as he runs to the apartment. A few minutes of running, a stop to rest because he is out of shape, and a door kicking in, Ryo finally made it.

"So you are looking for a roommate? I promise if you let me live here I Will shower and let you pet my cat." He holds up Tsuna who gives out a cute meow and presents the sad-puppy-dog eyes hoping this will work.....

It was a chilly afternoon, Ryo was still sulky but thought some air was a good idea rather then festering in his own misery at home. The past month was a somewhat decent distraction, He finished his house furnishing and all of his pokemon where happily given their own part of the house, he also was making good money at the stand at the port. Now it has caught up to him that he has to go through this, he has to accept what happened.

Ryo stood on the edge of the port watching people sail off to new lands or arrive in Kalos for the first time. He stayed there until the sun set and the people had filtered out and away from him. He looked at his reflection in the water. It was reflection of a sad boy, a defeated person, he hasn't seen that guy for years. Just overhead his Noivern, Nia was flying around exploring until she saw Ryo siting down at the port alone. She landed next to him and looked over to see his face, slightly more darkened. She could tell something was wrong and did the only thing she should think of at the time. She wrapped her wing around him and he leaned on her fur a bit before bursting into tears.

End of the Gold Age

3....6....4.....Fuck I don't remember. I know it's been a while since I clicked on the feed. I scrolled a few times in between but never had the motivation to...be. I have gone through some shit. Deep seeded shit. During that.....period of ignorance, I was pretty much a blissful idiot. I don't know why I thought they would be any different. Why I let myself get that close and comfortable.....Damn I was such a fool.

The first hint should have been that she left without a word and I had to find out a week later. I don't understand what happened and I don't want to now. I probably should have talked about it but I guess my instinctual defense system kicked in and I kept myself closed off.....kept to myself......never let on I was upset....alone really. I promised myself I wouldn't run. I promised I would stay strong this time and keep on being strong.

I can only keep half that promise.

I can't be that strong. No matter how hard I try. I.....don't want to be alone anymore......

Historic Find

It's been what? 2 weeks? More? I don't remember. I feel like it's been forever. I dropped off the grid to go.....somewhere. I'm not sure where I went. I just know it was a far cry from the regular places I Go when I normally go dark for a while. I found some literature that got me curious there.

I originally headed there to get some books my Grandma told me about. They detailed some things about Zekrom and the hero associated with it. Being I was kind of related to him in some vague way I figured I should read up on it. I found the books but while I was there I found some sort of Storage area.

I found things there that are hard to describe....A Blade with a jewel.....some old league badges......a couple of really old books.....and an old bracelet that looked like it held a mega stone.  I originally figured it was and this was some old place someone from that Kalos War kept their old war things but as I explored the place I read in one of the books I began to think something else was going on. That area had no connection to Yvetal or Xerneas....or any Kalos legend.

I stayed there to look into things and it looked as if this place was outside the norm of what most had understood. It's not strange for other regions to hear legends about the legendary pokemon that are not native to the region but this place has legends as if those pokemon were here.

That they effected this place with their presence. I found records of Lugia, Reshiram, Zekrom, Dialga, and even Arceus blessing this land in some way. Maybe....This place was the sight of a Holy War?

Either way, i took some of the stuff there home and placed them somewhere safe...Now I need a job. I heard the local market place has a place I can sell things open.....

Punch it(RvB AU)

It was a regular day at Blue Base. Ryo was hiding away from his CO, Cat, it was Nap O Clock. Much like 3 hours ago. His other Teammate, Edward was probably the most competent, which isn't saying much because he is a bad shot.

Across the rock was Red Team. They were not much better, Brendan was the highest ranked one and he seemed to have set everything a flame at least once every 2 weeks. It is a wonder they don't strap a fire extinguisher to him and just shoot it when he gets near an open flame. His 2 Soldiers under him were his mechanic, Danny, and his Sharpshooter, Juliet. Turns out that his mechanic had about as much mechanic training as a Bob the Builder coloring book and thus leaves most of their equipment in disrepair for most fights.

Today Ryo happen to have been found by Cat and She chewed him out.....again.

"What could we possibly do though? They are about as prepared to fight a war as we are and we have 3 guns and half a jeep." "We COULD be training numbnuts. Ya Know so we could AT least punch them in the mouth." "They have guns." "So?" "They will shoot us." "Not if we don't punch them first." "I don't think you know how guns work." "Shut the fuck up and run smartass." "Yes ma'am....bitch" Ryo mumbles as he runs. "WHAT WAS THAT SHITHEAD?" "Nothing! Damn!"

Meanwhile at Red Base Brendan was watching the blue team with the only working sniper rifle scope.

"You know what?"He says to the soldier in light purple next to him. "What sir." "We sure don't do much around here. You would think with all our free time we would like learn how to fix shit. Like this sniper rifle." "What's wrong with it?" "The Scope is literally the only thing that works. We have like hundreds of guns and shit but only like 2 actually shoot and they are like 20 degrees off center."

"SIR!!!" Yells the dark purple soldier. "What is it Juliet." "The Blues! They are running over here!" "fUCK! BATTLE STATIONS. JULIET GET TURRET FROM THE WARTHOG AND MAKE EXPLOSIONS SOUNDS! DANNY USE THE LASER POINTER TO GIVE YOUR GUN THE ILLUSION OF ACCURACY! WE will scare them today."

Ryo approaches the base. "Hey, idiots. Pretend to get your asses kicked so I can tell Cat I actually accomplished something." "Fuck no! We will not stand down!" Danny yells. "Yeah! Pretend to kick your own ass Blue Balls!"

Ryo takes a sigh and shoots Brendan in the foot. "OW FUCK!" He yells. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT ASSHOLE?"

"I was aiming for your Knee." "WELL GOOD SHOT DUMBASS!" "Close enough. Later."

Ryo walks back to blue base to tell Cat of his success. The Reds are left to tend with Brendan's wound.

"Well don't just look at it morons! Get some band-aides!" "I think you will need more then band-aides...." "BAND. AIDES."
