To pay homage to the Spooky Day, what's everyone at the circus' favorite kinda candy?
Cranberry, Custard, Merlot, and Draco all glance at you from the stage. They look to each other, and Cranberry pipes up with a giddy grin.
“I’ve always enjoyed kitkats!”
Custard smiles at Cranberry, who is bouncing on her feet while he answers.
“I personally enjoy dark and white chocolate.”
Merlot is tending to Draco’s hair, but she replies to you with a gentle, apologetic smile.
“As for me, I’ve no favorite. Sorry. Draco, however, likes candy corn and twix. Right?”
She looks to Draco as she stops playing with the smaller cookie’s hair, receiving a silent nod. Merlot nods herself, before speaking again.
“Yeah, that’s our favorite candies. I don’t know if-“
A chorus of two voices clamber from backstage, and two cookies appear, both yellow haired and almost identical, save for their obvious genders. The male cookie speaks first, the female cookie rolling her eyes. It was clear they were twins.
“Mom, Yuzu’s not listening to me! She won’t let me practice the da-“
He is cut off, by “Yuzu,” who gasps sharply.
“That is not true! I was just telling Cal-“
The twins stop, looking to Cranberry with wide eyes. She raises an eyebrow, and they both apologize, to her and to each other. It’s then that they notice you, and they shift nervously. Cranberry walks toward them and gently whispers to the duo, and they look back to you. The twins bow in unison. “Cal” speaks first, as they get back up from their bows.
“Hello, I’m Calamansi, but call me Cal! I like skittles.”
Cal nudges Yuzu, who snorts. Still, she’s chipper towards you, winking.
“Nice ta meetcha! I’m Yuzu, Cal’s older sister! I like m&m’s!”
The twins then watch as another cookie steps onstage, arms bandaged. He seems delighted though, and then the charming looking cookie catches eye of you. He bows down, waving.
“A guest? Hello, my name is Graham Cookie, performer of the Circus of Wonders! Are you here for a sho-“
Graham is cut off by Cranberry, who briefly catches him up on why you’re here. Graham blinks, then looks to you with a giddy grin.
“Favorite candy? That’s easy! I’m into all kinds of chocolate!”
When Graham finishes answering, he looks to Cranberry, and she looks to you, beaming.
“And that’s all of our favorite candies!...Except for Siren. She’s sick right now, so she can’t answer the question, but I recall her liking candy corn! So now that’s all the answers! Is that good enough?”
Graham, Cal, and Yuzu smile at you and wave silently, as Custard, Merlot, and Draco return to what they were doing.
