@draconicrider, continued from here.
A strange creature. One Leon had never seen before, not in book nor even passing conversation. An odd, albeit elegant monstrosity; it looked much like a suicune, except … different? It spoke with the vividness of a dracozolt or dracovish—something that shouldn’t exist but did. His thoughts bounced around like ball flung amidst a confined space, bashing around the sides, each collision blooming thoughts and theories aplenty. One of his first hasty conclusions was, perhaps, it was something artificially created, agonisingly sown together by a machine, but …
… What stood in the near distance did not struggle with its form. Indeed, everything, from colour to stance and bodily movement, seemed fluid. Like it belonged.
He didn’t mean to blurt out that loudly but blurt out he did.
Sarcasm dripped like poison-tipped honey from the man’s—tongue? Mouth? Helmet? Whatever. Leon knew it meant to sear him, to deter him from how sharply that man concealed the absurdity within their pokéball.
Strange, but intrigue blossomed quickly.
“Thankfully,” Leon did his best to veil the annoyance in his tone and approached, “I’m not that daft. But—unfortunately for you—I’m very curious by nature, and I want to know what the hell that pokémon was.”
