hey sorry if this is random and/or weird, but i’ve finally started following you after a while of snooping, and I looove that you post about Creatures. Like, you’re really cool and when I discovered you and your new snake on the snakevid blog, it was the huge push I needed last year to finally get my dream pet, a pied ball python. from there a rescued another of my now favorite pets and my special interests in reptiles has flourished. my life has been so much better with him in it :) and it was partially thanks to you, so thank you for being so cool and Snake posting!

It is never weird or random to show me cute creatures! I get pretty much all my seratonin from animals so I will always welcome pictures of the lil guys, especially if they're snakes or birds. I'm so glad that me getting Juniper was what convinced you to finally get your little man, as she's enriched my life tremendously as he has done with yours. Just last night she was so enthusiastic about her dinner that she got herself stuck upside-down under her hide trying to eat it, then deathrolled it under her substrate and started looking all over her enclosure for it, so I had to take it out, rinse it, and reheat it again. It was a bit of a hassle but I don't think I've laughed so hard all week. Snakes are such silly, inquisitive little creatures and they bring so much joy for such a shy animal (she did eat btw, but not before spending five minutes trying to eat it from the shoulder after I re-offered it. Sometimes I wonder how these animals survive in the wild).

How old is he, btw? I'm planning on moving Juniper up to a bioactive enclosure once she's full-grown + I'm in more secure housing, but since she's only about a year and 4 months, I expect her to do some more growing still. Your handsome little man looks roughly the same age as her based on girth and colour, but snakes are hard to judge and I'm curious about how their colour will shift as they age
