Celebration for Nov. 8th DracuLisaWeek on twitter.
I wanted to get at least one done before week is over, because I don’t know how much energy I’ll have this week.
I’m also surprised that I have yet to see ANY art on Dracula and Lisa be wedding themed. Just imagine Lisa wearing the most gorgeous victorian wedding dress and Dracula struggling to keep himself together.
This is my (very late) addition to the #Draculisaweek for the prompt #9 bouquet/fireplace 💐
It's not my best work but i thought i'd post it here nonetheless :)

The fireplace crackled loudly as the heavy front door fell into its lock. Lisa heard the echoes of his steps getting closer, a faint smile playing around the corners of her lips as she continued knitting.
Not much time later the door of the room opened, squeaking slightly. Lisa looked up and saw her husband Dracula standing in the door frame, holding a bouquet of white lilies. A smile spread across her lips as she stared into his glistening red eyes.
“You're back,” she said elated. She braced herself on the armrests, struggling to get up due to the size of her belly, and not a second later she decided against getting up.
“I am,” Dracula answered wistfully. “And I brought you your favorite flowers.” He smiled lovingly at her while her cheeks blushed.
“Flowers, for me? Thank you my love,” Lisa took the bouquet and smelled the lilies. The sweet honeyed and slightly spicy scent soothingly tickled her nose. Dracula came closer and gave her a kiss on the forehead, and passed his hand carefully over the belly.
“How's the little one doing?” he asked.
“Very well,” Lisa responded.
“The midwife expects him to come in a couple of weeks. I've been keeping busy knitting socks for him.” Lisa lifted her work-in-progress knit work, which was slowly taking shape.
“I bought our small one a hat at a market in Austria!” Dracula exclaimed excitedly, remembering his purchase. He rummaged his pockets and pulled out a tiny light blue knitted hat. They matched Lisa’s project and she nodded contentedly.
“I’m just so glad you’re finally back. I know you had to take this final trip before the baby comes. Did it go well though?”
He nodded in response.
“Yes, better than expected. Now I’m free to spend time with you and soon the tiny one.” He embraced her shoulder and pressed her against him. Instinctively, she leaned her head against his chest and took a deep breath.
“We missed you a lot…” she sighed, taking him in.
“I know… I won’t be away this long ever again. I promise.”
