Cupid is extremely anal about posture— It’s practically the first thing that an individual notices about the person they fall for, after all! The entire time CJ was growing up, dear old dad would get irked whenever he found his son slouching. And with every single slouch, an arrow would appear in Cupid’s hand to which he would use to tap CJ’s lower/mid back. As he grew up, CJ would have his shoulders thrown back, hands clasped— Prim, proper, perfect. Head up, jaw squared, and eyes forward.

But as he started finding that his talents rose in something other than what his father wanted, he started becoming looser. His movements weren’t always so calculated.

His arms would swing aimlessly, or he would rock back and forth when talking to Hephaestus or Apollo. His body weight rested primarily on his left leg, and his arms were crossed, with one hand drumming along his arm or body. But seeing as how he has taken on the job, it’s a cross between both. Shoulders back, but arms crossed. Head up, but he’s still rocking back and forth. It’s a middle ground, and one that he doesn’t mind.
