y dont u just tag everything with "s" instead of "u", from you know stolen :)
you think you are being sooo smart dont you? :-)
TUMBLR’s community guidelines: “If you aren’t allowed to use someone else’s copyrighted or trademarked work, don’t post it.” I get those pictures that are tagged with “u” from Instagram. Am I allowed to use them? Instagram, as any other Service, has Terms&Conditions and Privacy Policy, which say:
- “By using our Service you understand and agree that we are providing a platform for you to post content, including photos, comments and other materials (“User Content”), to the Service and to share User Content publicly. This means that other Users may search for, see, use, or share any of your User Content that you make publicly available through the Service”
- “Any information or content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to the Service, such as User Content becomes available to the public”
- “We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Service, including the information or content contained within them”
so yes, i can use their pictures, and you know what? it technically says the pictures are PUBLIC DOMAIN, so i shouldnt even have to tag them, but i am a decent fucking human and i take the 2-3 extra minutes of writing their name and a link to their online presence, as i respect the artist and the effort they’ve made to create their art.
so foh
