Honestly I have a similar situation. If it's financially smarter for you to live with your parents and there's no lack of privacy or anything, I'd say there's nothing wrong with it. I mean, I do still wanna move out someday, but I don't get why it's such a massively negative thing for most people, imo

Yeah that’s more or less my reasoning, like, many of my friends pay rent at some dingy apartment because it’s much closer to their work than their actual household, but from my point getting an apartment would mean paying an extra $500+ a month (since I already pay a bunch of services at home) just to be able to get to work maybe 30 minutes faster; not to mention having to buy groceries (which, in all of my friends’ cases, meant having nothing but rice and canned tuna to eat for like a month), medicine and stuff

I do have kind of an issue with privacy however, in the sense that while I can lock myself in my room and nobody will bother me and all, I heavily doubt I could bring someone over for the night (not that it’s gonna happen anytime soon lmao), but I think that’s a small price to pay
