I had some ideas thinking of The Dragon and the Alchemist, hoping to one day take it up as a writing project. At first I was thinking that Pidge would have the mice as her helpful companions. But then I thought, “What if Rover was a tiny, non-shifter dragon who assisted her?” And thus, we have little shoulder buddy. He loves treats and shiny things. And if Pidge runs an alchemist shop, he’s probably on the front counter, watching or snoozing.
