Character Questionnaire: Selene
@rhydincity: Nine times Selene answers a question and one time she doesn’t.
What is your favorite word? I’m quite attached to the word and the phenomenon of “serendipity,” the idea that something good comes out of something unexpected.
What is your least favorite word? I loathe the word “can’t” because while I may lack self-esteem, I don’t like people placing limits on what I can do.
What turns you on creatively, spiritually, or emotionally? Kindness and generosity... A regard for all life... Those are the things that pique my curiosity.
What turns you off? Laziness and a foul attitude. We all have good and bad days, but I have a hard time coping with people who feel entitled to everything. They infuriate me so!
What is your favorite curse word? I don’t know any curses yet (not that I particularly want to...) I barely know magic as it is!
What sound or noise do you love? The most incredibly soothing sound in the world happens just as night begins to fall when crickets gather in orchestra and chirp to their heart’s content.
What sound or noise do you hate? I was never partial to thunder, I suppose. Storms don’t frighten me, but I’ve never liked sudden noises, especially those that rip me from my slumber.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? I don’t have a profession yet. I’ve just begun studying arcane magic, but I think one day I would like to be proficient enough in it that I can teach it to someone so that it’s never lost.
What profession would you not like to do? If I never have to plow another field again, it couldn’t be sooner.
If heaven exists, what would you like to hear god (or whatever deity you envision) say when you arrive at the pearly gates? I’ve been told that my people have a rather long lifespan, and being that I’m just barely considered an adult, death and what comes after isn’t something I’ve often thought about...
