A Note on Updates

So!  I mentioned this over on Archive of Our Own during my Tumblr hiatus, but I am going to slow down chapter releases of “The Heaven We Didn’t Choose” during the month of March.  While I was previously posting twice per week (not that it was apparent over here, with how bad I was at updating things) I’m going to be cutting that back to once per week.

Look for new chapters on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with Tumblr cross-posting either the same or the next day.  I am currently inching towards chapter 40 in story writing, so we still have a lot of content to go!

In the meantime, I’ll be plugging a few artists (both literary and visual) whose work I greatly enjoy.  If you enjoy my work, maybe you’ll find something else to follow!  If you have something you’d like me to feature, please feel free to reach out.  (”Submit for Approval” is my submission link.  My ask box is labeled “Query the Dragon,” because I am a giant English nerd with a love of obscure vocabulary.)

Ayy, It’s Posting Day!

Hey, all!

Everything I have currently available for reading is over on Archive of Our Own, if you want to binge.  I’m slowly but surely getting everything over here, and will eventually post some supplementary material for some of my ongoing stories.

Speaking of ongoing stories, I’m getting ready to post a brand new, never-before-seen-by-anyone-but-me chapter of my longest story to date, “The Heaven We Didn’t Choose.”  It’s a gritty, Underfell-style story that takes place on the surface.  It involves things like Sans being forced to babysit, an (adult) Frisk who is all out of shits to give, and a sleep-deprived, caffeine-high Undyne.  It also tries to take an honest look at some tough issues like what it means to be part of a community and how to deal with abuse.  Or what to do if you develop a crush on someone you’ve maybe killed a time or two.

(Note: does not contain advice on murder and/or hiding bodies.  Don’t go there, folks.  Just don’t.)

Yet Another Update

Y’know, my declaration that I was going to start updating more regularly after all the nonsense in my life lately was NOT an invitation for my life to get super crazy again.

I just spent the day with my little sister in the ER.  She went in for a regular appointment this morning, but wound up being transferred to the ER and going through a 1-hour surgery that turned into a 4-hour surgery because they had to remove some bits of her.  She’s doing better now, but the issues she’s having are life-changing.  She’s sleeping now, thankfully, but she’s in a lot of pain and high on drugs and I don’t know how she’ll take the news when she’s awake.

Point being: any well-wishes you can send my way are much appreciated, and I might be a bit delayed in storywriting (again!).  The fun never stops.

Story Posting Update

Hey, all!

Apologies for the delay.  A few weeks back I lost my job, then my grandfather in quick succession.  That (and the frustration of posting stories to Tumblr, which is butt-pain to epic proportions) has delayed the posting of stories here.

I just finished posting a new story over on Archive of Our Own, which will be over here eventually.  I’m going to try to resume my daily schedule of reposting stories here, but if you crave that sweet, sweet Undertale story vibe you can head over there for all the stories I’ve shared with the world thus far.
