Staring towards the Chancellor a look of disgust formed on her face. Really that’s all he had to damn well say after something shitty like a stab in the stomach, & being chained like a bitch? Gritting her teeth Aranea pulled the weapon from his body before rolling her eyes. She hated the garbage that was going on around Niflheim, but still she couldn’t just leave the man here. Catching Ardyn as he fell forward the words droned on from time to time.
Irksome as it was beginning to be, the green eyed mercenary couldn’t shut him up. Leaning to see just how bad the wound was she cringed. Alright so it wasn’t bad, so much as creepy. Pushing the both of them forward, in silence Aranea didn’t make a sound. Leaving all the mad talk to Ardyn about not caring anymore, she almost wanted to drop him on his ass.
「❝ shut the hell up we’re almost out of here. you better damn well pay me ten times what you are now~ ❞ 」
Fuck it, his chatter was starting to get on her nerves, & the more she heard him the more she wished she left him. Funny how a man that seemed so fully of life, though questionable as it was, was turned into this mess. Finally after reaching a doorway the mercenary pushed the door open. Light greeted them both, & while she hissed Ardyn stared upwards in silence.

Oh, what an inconvenience. Stabbed several times and set to bleed out his tainted ichor across the floor. Of course, it would not kill him. Nothing could kill him and it was part of the reason he was being so damned chatty as Aranea drug him up from the prison. However, whoever had done this to him had done some research. These were slow healing wounds. Ardyn would take some time to recover.
The Chancellor could not help but chuckle as the mercenary drug him upwards into the light. She was so demanding, she was. A part of him found it charming and the soft way he said ‘ah’ under his breath almost sounded a bit too fit for a touch of madness. A blabbering fool he could seem at that moment.
“Do not fret, my dear. You will be paid plenty.”
He hissed as he shoved forward to rest himself against the stonework. Ardyn winced at the pain, which was an odd sensation for him to feel at all. He was not completely devoid of feeling pain, but it was a rarity. Some manner of him almost enjoyed it. Enjoyed feeling anything at all.
“Hnngh. They did their toil on me. Tsk tsk. That’s going to leave a mess all OVER their tiles.”
The bark of a laugh from the Chancellor was nothing short of mad.

He was dumbfounded, he did not think that line would work, but it was true that he did need more adventure in his life. He was sick of the same-old-same-old; saving Serah and then having her dumb him. It was getting old, and dissapointing.

Izunia and his favourite types of training. @dragonerinn ‘s Aranea was nice enough to do him the favor and dance with him. Anyone who would dance with him is automatically gaining so much devotion from him. The dance poses were inspired by P!nk’s Try music video. Even fits their thing. And yes, Izunia loves to sort of... pole dance. But in a cool way. No stripping.
