       Granted, sovereign’s 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐒 were fallacious. His celestial weaponry and uncanny resemblance to this realm’s prince had already drawn 𝐔𝐍𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍. The commodore’s curiosity likely stemmed from such an observation.

      she doesn’t appear to belong and yet the confidence in her strut seems to say otherwise. the city was known to swallow whole those who aren’t careful enough to remain out of the prying eyes and whispers on the street. even he had to take precautions when it comes to the people of night city knowing just how far his intelligence went. ❛ i hope you found what you were looking for.❜  comes the accented purr from the dash comm once she’s close enough to the open passenger window.

   “Oh hey, there you are!” After having called her and setting up this meeting with her again, Gohan had waited patiently for Amy in front of the shop they’d agreed to meet by. It was a relief to see that familiar head of long white hair round the corner as she ran to him.

   “Oh, here,” Gohan said, pulling her sketchbook out of the bag he’d been carrying. “Before anything else, I wanted to give this back to you. You dropped it the last time we met.”

STRANDED sentence meme. / accepting !

    Stars dance across her eyes, twinkling and mystifying her in a stupor. The world dances in a hazy blur with each movement. Iris tries to focus her sight---squinting and tries to will her eyes to function with a glare. Giggles begin to bubble up from her throat, spilling out plentiful like rain. 

    A hiccup. 

    Iris hadn’t even realized she’d been on the ground until Aranea held her hand out; the older woman’s voice is muddled in her alcohol addled mind. “Mmhm! Yeah! Sure can!” She’s all but laughing as she makes a wobbly attempt to stand, swaying as though she were a newly birthed fawn. Perhaps so. It was her twenty-first birthday after all. An adult. Though she’s been baptized by fire in more than one way for many years already. 

    “Say!” She starts suddenly. “Y’think the boys will let me in on the secrets now? No gurlz allowed! But I’m grown now! So they’ll tell me, right?”

🍐  :    how intelligent is my muse overall?  are they smarter than the average person,  or less than?  are they primarily self-taught,  or did they acquire most of their knowledge in school?  are they more street smart or book smart?  

Cường came from nothing. Growing up all those years ago, back when his mother held his hand and kissed him silly on his cheeks, he attended his schooldays in a humble village -- that is, a poor and poverty-stricken scene, more just lessons in his measly kitchen. No, he hasn't much by ways of formal education. However, hundreds of years are under Cường's belt, and despite the youth in his face, he wears age on his sleeves, has wisdom and keenness and knowledge for leagues. He says things cryptically more often than not, sure, but he says them with experience, rare and hard-earned experience that makes his words feel ancient sometimes. He knows and has seen and has lived so many days, and it shows all too readily in a way that borders bizarre. Cường can't dole out arithmetic for you, no (though he isn't useless here; he manages an okay average in academia), but he can tease the answers to life's strangest questions. Guidance. A thread. A shred of something. Really, infuriating, even, he just sounds like someone who knows more than he's offering.
