I use to have a lot of crashing with skyrim, but after I downloaded LOOT it’s been way better! It will also let you know if certain mods conflict with each other. Also “open cities” mod causes tons of crashes and conflicts with almost everything if you have that

that’s good to know! i’ve never particularly had any interest in mods like those, i get lost enough in the cities as it is. but i’m probably gonna steer clear of those types of mods.

have you tried “LOOT”? It’s a program that automatically sorts your mods into a safe load order

i never heard of it, but i’m definitely looking into it now!

the first time I played an ES game I didn't know fall damage was a thing because I mostly play platformers, so I walked right off a cliff, died, and immediately looked at my brother and said "jumping off mountains kills you???"

see the exact opposite thing happens to me now? when i rarely play a platformer i keep worrying about fall damage when it doesnt exist
