Little disclaimer: i wrote this post, while i admit my little knowledge about the actual Dragon Raja storyline, all i know about it is from the game and some facts about the novels, which i learned on Dragon Raja game community. I'm sorry if I don't know/misunderstood something.
Do you want to be a Hybrid and study in Cassel College?
Well, I don't.
Why? Because when you're a Hybrid, your life doesn't belong to you. You're basically a tool - or a weapon, as Hybrid secret society refers to college's students - in someone else's hands, you have no say and no control over your life. There's always those above you, who will easily use and sacrifice you not just without your consent, but even without you being aware of it. And they won't let you know about their true motives. Like, one in game scene, Chisei Gen tells his assistant Sakura Yabuki, that if he fails to beat dragon, then they'll have to throw Erii into the well, to her certain death. And Yabuki accepts it, as if it was totally normal. Neither one of them shows even a bit of mercy for her. For them, it's like discussing which weapon to use, to do as much damage as possible to the enemy. And Erii is unaware of it.
College is no better, like Anjou basically blackmails Koshi Uesugi, threatening him to destroy all the Hydras if Koshi won't help him in killing the dragons (while Koshi has already left the Hydras, his clan and dragonslaying. Or he thought so. Man just wanted a calm, normal life!). And Anjou knew, that Erii, Chime and Chisei were Koshi's kids, but never told him so untill the moment when he forced him to fight dragons. Lovely, isn't it?🤦♀️
If you're a Hybrid, you're pretty much doomed.
You have dreams - forget it.
You have plans - forget it.
You're in love - forget it.
You wanna give up and live a normal life - forget it. All of it will be most likely screwed. And it's unlikely, that someone would cry a tear about you. Honestly, at this point, personally i'd view Cassel College and it's founders, Secret society, as a terrorist organisation of some kind (except for the students, i think they get somehow brainwashed by that institution. I mostly seriously don't like Anjou). And also, because i was always really interested about Japan and it's culture, college's open hate against it just piss me off. However, i do like professor Schneider for his personal courage, as not only he dared to dive and personally face the dragon, that killed his students, but despite his horrible injury, he still works as the college teacher, educating Johann Chu. But i think, that sealing details of Greenland mission was unfair, but that just me.
Overall, dragonslayers sometimes seem to be worse than dragons to me.
So yeah, in Dragon Raja world, i'd rather be ordinary person without any extra skills.
What's your opinion?
Ruri really said 🧚♀️✨Trauma✨
"I'm Anjou, and i would like to invite you for afternoon tea. I'm sure you would like my office".
Is it just me, or is it a really straight up pick up line from Principal?🤪
Is it just me, or does the manhua professor Schneider really look like Sephiroth from Final fantasy?🧐
An intere glitch i encountered lately in the game. I like to think, that Eva just got bored and decided to go outside.
Hello, Cassel College? There's a dragon in my shopping mall! 😁
Love this place. But i wonder, what's behind those gates, a Heaven?
