Oh no, I didn’t know he was going blind, poor little guy. I suspect my Nefertiti’s vision isn’t too good. She seems to lose track of fishing pole toys really easily. She can track motion, though, so I think it’s more that she’s nearsighted.

I wonder if being able to track motion despite bad vision is a predator thing. Nefertiti does sound like Tux that way.  If the toy gets maybe 3ft away from him, he loses track.

I first noticed Tux was a little “off” a few months after I adopted him. He was playing with Kit and ran full-on into the side of a cabinet, hard enough to make himself woozy for like a minute. He just had this tendency to crash into completely stationary objects. He hasn’t hit his head that hard since then, but I always feel so bad whenever I hear the scrambling of little ferret toenails followed by a “thunk.” He also crashes into ME all the frickin time and trips me pretty much every day by running under/in front of my feet when he sees me walking.  He even crashes into the other ferrets, and they’re like “wtf, dude.” XD

YES can you imagine the dirt that Jamil and Natal’Hakata have on Rastakhan between themselves, the absolutely absurd situations they can’t tell anyone but each other due to their confidential nature?? Only Zolani and Habutu have a closer glimpse by merit of always being at the king’s side.

(There’s so many R-rated gossip possibilities but here’s a PG one)

Natal’Hakata: So today I had to cancel two hours worth of public audience and a zanchuli council meeting, the audience line is already two full rotations around the pyramid and that was the only time slot that worked for all the council members this week! Loa above, it’s going to be such a pain to reschedule, I’m probably going have to schedule outside Zul’s preferred time windows and he always makes these really disturbing predictions about me when I do, ughhh... The king’s last meeting was a daytrip to the Warbeast Kraul. Half way in I get a message from Habutu telling me to clear the rest of his schedule. What did he do, Jamil?!

Jamil: 

Natal’Hakata: 👀

Jamil: So you know that rabid devilsaur causing problems near that village a ways south from the Kraul...

Natal’Hakata: No, but for fucks sake, someone dared him to fight it, didn’t they.

Jamil: Well, it sure isn’t causing problems anymore! However, as it turns out, the warbeast handler lore about crested devilsaur rabies strains being especially virulent is absolutely true.

Natal’Hakata: 😱

Jamil: And also that symptoms manifest differently in each troll.

Natal’Hakata: Please tell me he’ll able to go to his meetings tomorrow.

Jamil: As of two hours ago, he still thought he was a potato, so I would temper my expectations. Actually, I really should be returning to check on him now.

Natal’Hataka: *buries head in hands* I hate my life.

My raid group finally got to Rastakhan last night (he kicked our asses, yay!) and I loved his whole speech about how the Alliance are the savages.

It’s a pretty great speech! My guild complains that “the rp is too damn long” though... c’mon, can’t you guys appreciate the gravity of Rastakhan’s last stand? 😢 (When we were on him during progression, I congratulated him after he wiped us lmao)
