Hello! I know this isn't your particular area but, I'm wondering if you have any good sources on 1830s men's coat patterns/drafting. My brother wants to make a carrick coat and nothing I was able to find had anything. Thank you :)

The cut of men’s clothes has some stuff from around that era! (Link is to a free pdf) Here’s a list of free historical tailoring books, which unfortunately has none from the 1830′s, but there is one from the 1820′s and several from the 1840′s. You might be able to find more on google books, project gutenberg, or archive.org. Here’s a post from a while ago where i answered a similar question, which has a few more links. Hopefully they’re helpful!
