I literally don’t get the whole “you’re not really a monster” discourse on dragula. Like it’s a platform for ALTERNATIVE drag, and if they cast girls like Melissa, Erika, Yovska and Maxi, I think it’s because they saw something in them. It’s so invalidating to say someone doesn’t deserve to be there just cause they’re doing stuff that’s different from the rest. Like THATS THE POINT OF ALTERNATIVE DRAG!!!
