Why I like them/why I don’t: I LOVE ALIT SO MUCH OK… he’s such a fun entertaining and genuinely likable character
What I like about their appearance: I wrote something about his design and how well it uses color on twitter like a year ago:“Alit’s Barian form is majorly warm leaning: he incorporates all 3 major warm colors, red, orange, and yellow into his design, primarily in his theme color being red. His mask, for a contrast, is purple, but it’s an extremely warm purple to give it unity. This also helps put emphasis on his face, because the purple is paired off with yellow gems; complimentary colors. This is further done with more compliments in his red face with green eyes; but the green in his eyes is also warm enough to provide emphasis while still being united instead of clashing. This further lends itself into his human design - not only are Alit’s eyes a warm green, they’re also an earth tone. The designers use this to their advantage by making his hair a warm but earthy brown, along with his pants a neutral cream color. This combination of colors instead comes together to create a neutral setting, which makes his red (which is still his main color) shirt really pop and be emphasized.”
Do I prefer their dub names or original names? I can’t believe I have been asked exactly zero characters with different names between dub and JP.
OTP: I love Alit/Yuma and Alit/Kotori pretty evenly, but in my headcanons Alit/Kotori is endgame. I like the idea of the two of them having a lot of unsuccessful relationships and just deciding to date in their late 20s, only to find they stick and get married.
