A: And if you notice the shape of the propellers - oh, though dim as it is, they're hard to see from here. I'm aware that I'm derailing our walk, but could we perhaps take a closer look? D: I'd love nothing more. Lead the way.

I love the idea of Aymeric being a nerd for airships - even so far as to build model kits of them. Borel Manor is super close to the airship landing, so I can see him watching them go by as a kid getting all excited. There's something special about a loved one sharing their passions with you; Drakyr doesn't mind their walk getting derailed one bit. (This headcanon also makes me think of my own husband and his love of mini painting. :3)

Yes I went so far as to photoshop an airship at the landing since there isn't one there normally. This was supposed to be something quick 'n sweet, but they never turn out that way, do they? lol 🙃That said, I'm still really happy with how it came out.

The Last Sisters of the Saovine Tribe

A little something for the Rising. It's my headcanon that the Saovine tribe were killed in the Calamity; the gorge that opened up in Eastern Thanalan swallowed them all. Drakyr and Lakelta survived only because they rode ahead to Gridania to promote the tribe's performances/make sure all the paperwork was in order/etc. When the Rising comes around, there's an awful lot of grief to be carried.

Though at least, these days, they don't carry it alone...

I'll be honest - I would've liked to have added more characters to the second pose set, but there are so many to choose from...and it was getting late and I got tired. Pretend there's more characters there lol.

I'm playing around with Lakelta's appearance some. I plan to actually do more with her. Hopefully. 😅 The only thing that changed this time is her hair's accent colour. We'll see what the future brings.

In the first set of poses, I took my first stab at this tear tutorial. <3 I couldn't get it to work at first, but it seems I just hadn't scaled the tears up enough to be visible.

So I got frustrated and said "fuck it size fifty". And that's how I ended up with "oh THAT'S where it is.jpg" (alternate name: "ghibli tears.jpg).
