10 Years Before: Dralin's Farewell
After months of vigorous arctic magic training from Dralin, Kevin was proud because he managed to complete his scholar of magic. Dralin was impressed because not only he trained Kevin, but it took a lot less time to learn than the other scholar that he had heard from his fellow monks.
"Kevin. I am proud of you because you have learn how to protect others with ice and water and you are a quick learner." Dralin said happily with a smile, but he noticed Kevin was a I confused, so he was about to ask but Kevin spoke.
"An I a fast learner?" Kevin asked, surprised because he didn't know that. Dralin nods.
"Yes. A normal scholar takes years to master their element magic, but you were a lot quicker." Dralin replied softly with a nods. "Sadly, I must inform you that you won't be able to see me again." Dralin hesitantly replied, he didn't want to upset Kevin, but obviously he did.
"Awww... I wanna see you again." Kevin said as he looked down, he wanted him to meet him again, but he knows he couldn't.
"I am sorry..." *Dralin crouched to Kevin's level. "I do too, but I can't; I need to return back to the temple I was in." Dralin apologies and he gave Kevin a comforting hug.
"Okay... May I ask where your place is?" Kevin asked, if he can't visit him; then he will.
"I cannot tell you, but I can tell you is that my temple is on a mountain that is next to a waterfall..." Dralin replied. "Oh, I almost forgot. I want you to have this." Dralin gave a sheathed weapon to Kevin.
"It's a weapon!" Kevin pointed out, he didn't want giftsnot because of what it is, he didn't want it, but Dralin shook his head.
"It's a rapier that only harms evil spiritual creatures such as demons. I want you to have it so you can protect yourself spiritually."
"Okay... Thank you... I'll miss you." Kevin replied, disappointed that they have to spit ways.
"I miss you too." Dralin sadly replied.

10 Years Before: Arctic Mage Training
*Young Kevin was riding a horse without supervision to a heavily snowed area, wearing thick arctic clothing. He was told to go there because someone wanted to see him plus his dragon was sick, so he had no choice and ride a horse to the location Even though it was heavily snowed he felt really hot, but he heard about people stripping themselves in the snow before they died for no reasons, he wondered why, but he didn’t want to test it himself*
*Upon reaching to an area where Kevin was told, he dismounted his horse, which the snow was leg height for him, and looked around, because he only saw flat land of snow. He got on his horse and was about to leave when he suddenly heard a deep rumbling, then the ground started to shake. His horse was going wild but thankfully he managed to calm it down before it fled and abandoning Kevin. Slowly, a huge igloo emerged from the snow, which Kevin was a bit disappointed, he thought a huge castle or island was rising, but it was simply a huge igloo, he then hesitantly started to travel into the igloo*
*Seeing the inside of the igloo amazed young Kevin: there was living floras in the igloo, a well kept fire and many furniture that looks really comfortable, what really caught Kevin’s attention was the vases and statues made of ice, as he started to walk towards the fire, he heard a familiar voice*
“God must had blessed you my child. People came here with another person, but you only came here by yourself.”
*The voice said, young Kevin looked at the direction of the voice, happy because he had met someone*
“Dralin! So you were the one who called me to come here? You called me for something to do with training, am I right?”
*Kevin asked, which Dralin nod with a small smile, indicating he was correct about being trained*
“Yes. I thought that you are a prefect Cryomancer. You seem to move a lot quicker in the snow and you seemed to look hot when you run in the snow, like you’re running in the summer.”
*Dralin explained, he walked up to Kevin and gave him a strange light blue clothing that folded up neatly*
“Here is your schooler uniform, it’s something I’ve had personally made. I hope this would fit you, though...”
*Dralin looks away as Kevin gently took the schooler uniform from Dralin. Kevin was eager to try it out but a bit hesitant in case he might rip it*
“... Anyways, you may change in your temporary room. I tried my best to make it like home...” *Dralin softly said as he looked back to Kevin*
“Alright, thank you Dralin.” *Kevin replied with a grateful smile as he went to his room, which he gasp in amazement*
~
*Upon exiting his room, his schooler uniform fitted him well and he was happy*
“How is it?”
*Dralin asked, a bit anxious because he wasn’t sure if he impressed Kevin*
“How is it? It’s amazing! I love it!”
*Kevin happily replied back, which made Dralin relieved*
“Alright. My child, are you ready to learn some things?”
*Dralin asked*
“Yea!”
*Kevin exclaimed, he was really ready*
10 Years Before: Gifts
*The young boy was walking in the streets of the village he lived, where he felt true peace and belonging because he knew everyone in the village and everyone in the village liked the boy. While he walked, he heard a muffled noise coming behind a house. Curious, he decided to check what was going on*
*Upon seeing, he saw a light blue half dragon with long white hair who is in their teens and is wearing a blue robe, crying because of something. He was confused at first, but upon examining closely, he found out that the half dragon had a flute that was broken*
“Ummm... Excuse me miss.” *Kevin asked politely, he curious on why the half dragon was crying, he realised that the half dragon was a male, and he accidentally called him ‘miss’*
*The half dragon looked at Kevin and tried to composed himself, he solemnly smiled*
“My child, I am not a lady but a male. I’m alright, please do not worry.” *The half dragon softly replied as he stood up, taking his broken flute* “I have heard things about you but I have never got a chance to heard of your name. May I ask for your name? I am Dralin, I was a bard but became a monk in a mountain far away.” *Dralin, the light blue half dragon politely asked*
“I’m Kevin. What did they say about me?” *Kevin cheerfully introduced himself*
“They have told me you played a flute that had sounded like a song bird and you have rescued a aquatic half dragon.” *Dralin replied politely*
“Oooh, okay. Ummm... I want you to have this.” *Kevin replied as he gives Dralin his flute*
“My child! You must not give me your flute. I cannot take something you’re good at away from you.” *Dralin replied, he was surprised*
“Nah, I think you should take mine. Think of it as a gift. I wanna see how good is you are.” *Kevin cheerfully replied. He wanted to hear Dralin play his flute since he used to have one*
“Thank you... I shall play your flute now...” *Dralin replied gently as he put his nuzzle close to young Kevin’s flute and started playing*
*There was a beautiful tune coming from Kevin’s flute as Dralin played it, there was a crowd coming in and checking out who was playing the flute...*
