Today we had 80 students across Years 7, 8, 9 & 10 Audition for our 2 Theatre Companies! On Wednesday we’ll be posting the Invitations to each Company (TAG - Tallis Actors Guild on Mondays, Tallis Drama Company on Fridays) outside the Josh Beasley Studio! Then we can start next week on preparing for this Year’s Drama Shows! Well done everyone who came to Audition!
First attempt to Korean Skincare Routine
I never even wash my face everyday. And I hate sunblock creams. I lived in Bali, Indonesia and Boracay, Philippines - both a tropical beach destination and never cared about all the nasty effects of the harmful UV crap. All that really matters to me is my golden bronze tan from my shiny forehead down to my very dry toes.
In 5 weeks, I am about to deliver via scheduled CS to my second child.
In 7 weeks, I turn dirty 30.
Makes me want to throw up just thinking about it. Baby 2.0 is as unplanned as Baby 1.0 - I was at least expecting a 5 year gap before having another one (or none anymore) so I can finally go back working on my chosen career. Being a 24/7 full time hands on mum can be very rewarding because of the bond you create with your child and not missing out any single milestones... but the crap that you have to deal with is so intensely stressful and just absolutely draining. I actually think being heavily pregnant while looking after a toddler, not to mention a semi-feral one, ON MY OWN (dearest bf and baby daddy works overseas) is the hardest shit I have ever done in my life. It’s not just a class I can skip nor a job I can just quit. It’s a chore FOR LIFE. This has been the only situation in my life where I am left with no other choice but to soldier on and not give up.
Amidst the dramas, I cannot click pause and keep the time when I’m only in my 20’s. I have to do something about it... and I’m not talking about the daily dilemmas of being a stay at home mum.
I NEED TO PREVENT SIGNS OF AGING WTF.
It’s never too early to start looking after your skin. I just woke up one morning, worried about fine lines and saggy skin. And with all the shit I have to put up through everyday, there is no doubt I can look older than my age.
Next post is really about skincare. This was just the preface.
I honestly could NOT be MORE excited for the plays I’m going to be directing in autumn!
A Christmas Carol and Frankenstein!
I’ll be writing my own scripts and A Christmas Carol is already on it’s way! ^^
