Do you remember I said I was going to try to get better at drawing by drawing something I actually wanted to draw instead of the apples and cones in art books?

Well, I drew a cat, and it was rubbish. I looked at some references and drew another cat and it was less rubbish. I spent the entire afternoon drawing cats and looking at references and drawing cats again because I love drawing cats and I got better and better.

I mean, they’re still rubbish. But I have found something I will happily draw over and over again because I like drawing cats and one day I’ll draw a good one

Also I made my cat an orange and purple tabby because I can.

Today marks the last day of cat week! it’s been fun and it made me want a cat even MORE!
