WIP  jewelry box Part II Got late, so this is where I left of that jewlery box. The drawers are almost covered wit library book cloth and I punched a hole where the knobs will sit later on.

I covered the inside bottom parts first, letting the edges run up the walls to avoid blank corners. It also helps to keep the crosspieces (? not sure that’s the word I should use here, the separating wall-thingies inside) clean. Although with this fabric that’s not as important as with other materials like paper because you can just wipe it clean again.

The walls are covered from inside to outside and overlap to the outside bottom with a cm to spare. The bottom is finally covered up with a single piece with a recess of about a mm to each edge.

The weights are there to keep the bottom flat while drying, Perhaps I could have done without, but better safe than sorry.
