The Goodwill Desk Refurbish: Part III...The Vintage Knobs!
So, we’ve finally reached the end of this fun project! I took this desk...
....and turned it into this desk...
Now all we need to do is pick a cool vintage knob for the drawer. I visited a local vintage shop near my home and chose 2 funky ones....and here they are:
Soooo hard to choose between them! The one on the left is glass and has a really funky prism look to it. But the one on the right has a cool design and it’s gold, which compliments the gold on the desk. Such a hard decision, but I went with...
The Gold Knob! I think it was the right choice, and I’ll definitely be able to use the glass knob in the future. So here’s the final result...
Amazing! Perfect for the SheShed...and the total cost for this project was only $36! Cost Breakdown: $19.99 (desk), $13 (white paint), $3 (vintage knob)...the rest of the paint and other items came from my personal supply. And there you have it! A gorgeous desk, much cheaper than anything you could ever buy online...and that’s the true advantage of vintage!
