Ka is stepping away slightly to brush the slush from the back of kan head. It wasn't the most unpleasant thing Niki has ever experienced but definitely not comfortable. "Lieutnant Niki Laaksonen, sworn soldier of Gallacia, at your service Miss Lena." The introduction is said with a dramatic half bow with hand over heart. Standing upright kan has a bit of a crooked smile; this is only because the scar tissue on the left side of Niki's face won't let the skin move appropriately to do so.
"Am I to assume correctly you're headed to said gala? Are you in need of an escort to further protect you from the creatures of the city?" The offer is genuine but ka's accent comes through thick with a little bit of humor.
