When making Utau covers whats your favourite step?

I have been thinking about this ask ever since I got it, bc honestly picking just one step in the process is genuinely difficult.

There are parts I like more than others ofc, but like; as much as I bitch about something like mixing, I can't act like it's not satisfying when you get the hang of it and you get to hear how good your cover sounds.

I guess my genuine (but kinda cheezy) answer is posting the cover, because that's the culmination of all your work. Everything coming together to make your art... I kinda feel the same making illustrations, there's no 1 step I could really say I like best, because every step of the process is special and filled with love. The creation of art in any form means a lot to me, no matter the "quality" of the end product :]

Whose an utau, that you just draw really different from its orignal version, like when you draw them, you can tell its the utau but its also very different

I take a lot of creative liberties with some UTAU, mainly older ones, joke banks, the VIPPERloids, etc.

I try to refrain from it with banks that are like, I Know this is just someone's oc; unless they make it clear creative liberties are ok when drawing the character.

What's your favourite, utau ship and is it a popular one, or is it more of a rarepair

Picking just one favorite is really tough tbh gyubj

For romantic ships I'd say probably Tei and Ruko (unsurprisingly my favorite ship involves my favorite UTAU), I wouldn't say it's really a rarepair, but it's def not common from what I've seen. Second place goes to MikoHitoKebi, which IS a rare pair, both bc Hito's weirdly obscure and poly ships are already kinda uncommon.

For platonic ships tbh I really like Iku and Ron as besties, idk why but they're very funny to me. Both extremely averse to authority and very confrontational, but somehow they like goofing off together. They're absolutely a rarepair, romantic or platonic, I p much never see Ron with anyone But Matsudappoiyo.

For familial/found family relationships, my current favorite to think about is Maiko basically adopting Ruko and Rook as her younger siblings, without asking first lol. Maiko is the reason Ruko has a death growl bank /silly

My favorite worsites are either Ted and Dareka or Kuroku and Kenta, they're just extremely funny to me TYGUBI
